In line with the strategies developed as a result of the preliminary research conducted by the International Studies Group of the Architectural Education Accreditation Association in 2023, the goal of becoming a full member of the “Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education” (CEENQA), which was determined as the first step of internationalization, has been achieved.

According to the voting results at the CEENQA General Assembly hosted by the Estonian Quality Agency for Education (HAKA) in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, on June 14, 2025, MİAK has gained full membership status as of this date.

This achievement, which was achieved in the holistic development of architectural education in Turkey at world standards and ensuring its international recognition, will be a valuable source of experience and motivation for future steps.
