Strategic Plan 2022-2026
Update = March 2026
The strategic plan SWOT analysis, objectives, targets, and performance criteria were determined through a survey administered to: a) Architecture Education Accreditation Association members, faculty members, architects and students serving as visiting team chairs/members/observers, and program coordinators (Department Chairs) and accreditation coordinators (if any) of all architecture programs in Turkiye and the TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus). Invitations were sent to 261 persons. 15% of those invited participated in the survey. The Strategic Plan will be evaluated each January by the Strategic Plan Working Group using the performance criteria for the previous year's data. When the Strategic Plan period is completed, new strategic plan activities will be organized by Board of Directors decision.

It ensures strategic inclusiveness and participation by allowing broad representation of stakeholders such as educators, academics, students, graduates, employers, and professional organizations in the formation and/or activities of its members, management staff, all boards, and teams.
MiAK’s Vision;
To improve of the quality of architectural education by conducting accreditation, external quality assessment, and information activities for architecture education programs; to support the improvement of social welfare and the quality of the natural and built environment by raising the quality of architectural services; to ensure the development of the architecture profession through education; to evaluate and develop architecture education through cooperation with official bodies related to education and by developing recommendations, and through competency studies.
