MiAK-MAK (ARCHITECTURAL ACCREDITATION BOARD)
Members of MiAK-MAK, which is responsible for determining the accreditation conditions of architectural education and carrying out the evaluation processes, are determined among the faculty members of the architecture department with at least 15 years of experience and architects with at least 15 years of experience.
MiAK-MAK; consists of seven (7) members. 5 members are elected at the meetings of the Architecture Schools Department Heads Communication Group (MOBBİG) among the candidates suggested by the Department Heads of the Schools of Architecture. The other two members are determined among the names suggested by the TMMOB Chamber of Architects Central Board of Directors. The term of office of MiAK-MAK members is two years.
MiAK-MAK members elect a President and a Vice-President among themselves. Minister; He is responsible for representing the Architectural Accreditation Board, calling an extraordinary meeting when deemed necessary, ensuring that the Board works regularly, harmoniously, and in accordance with the law, and ensuring coordination between MiAK-MAK and the Board of Directors of the Association. In the absence of the President, the Vice President carries out the Board management on behalf of the President. They meet at least 4 times a year. MiAK-MAK meets by absolute majority and decides by the majority of those attending.
