TERM BOARD OF DIRECTORS ACTIVITY REPORT

INTRODUCTION
The Architectural Education Accreditation Association (MiAK) was established on September 10, 2019, with 74 Founding Members of 5 legal entities and 69 real persons. MiAK was first planned in 2006 in cooperation with the academicians of the department of architecture working in various universities and the TMMOB Chamber of Architects and started its activities in 2007 under the name of the Architectural Accreditation Board within the framework of the Regulation of the Architectural Accreditation Board (MiAK) accepted by the General Assembly of the Chamber. The Association currently has 84 members (see Annex 1), 5 of which are legal entities.
MiAK, which carried out its activities as the Architectural Accreditation Board before the association, received its first Quality Assessment Registration Certificate for 1 Year on November 30, 2011. After the establishment of the association, it renewed its certificate for 2 years on November 17, 2021. Based on the application made to the Higher Education Quality Board on 09.06.2023, this registration certificate was extended for two years until 17.05.2025 with the decision of the Higher Education Quality Board dated 23.11.2023 and numbered 2023.12.01, effective from 17.11.2023. Having taken important steps towards institutionalization, MiAK will continue to work to contribute to improving the quality of education in the coming years.
