MiAK Workshop #3 was held online on 1 August 2026, bringing together 26 participants from MiAK's Executive Board, committees, commissions, working groups, and association members. The workshop featured presentations and discussions on accreditation, internationalization initiatives, and recent developments in architectural education.

The workshop opened with a presentation by Prof. Dr. Ela Alanyalı Aral, who shared updates on MiAK's internationalization initiatives and the UNESCO-UIA System Validation Application process. This was followed by a brief presentation by Zeynep Yılmaz, who introduced the main findings of MiAK's report entitled "An Evaluation of 2026-2027 Quotas for Undergraduate Architecture Programs and 2025-2026 Admission Data."

In the second session, Prof. Dr. Şebnem Hoşkara and Prof. Dr. Gökçeçiçek Savaşır presented recent developments regarding the accreditation preparations for graduate architecture programs, outlining the progress made within MiAK's graduate accreditation initiatives.

The third session featured Prof. Dr. Gülsu Ulukavak Harputlugil, who discussed recent developments in architectural education with a particular focus on micro-credentials in higher education. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aktan Acar then presented current updates concerning the definitions of professional education and practice-based education in higher education.

In the final session, Prof. Dr. Şebnem Hoşkara provided an update on recent revisions to accreditation procedures, implementation practices, and related documentation. The workshop concluded with the closing remarks and overall evaluation by Prof. Dr. Ela Alanyalı Aral.

MiAK's activities continue to be carried out voluntarily through the collective efforts of its Executive Board, committees, commissions, working groups, and association members. The continuation of these collaborative initiatives remains one of MiAK's key priorities.
